Megan Dweck
I am a graphic designer living in Brooklyn.
I get really excited about using the pen tool, defining visual hierarchy, and making data beautiful. I'm the kind of designer who knows her tools and software inside and out, works fast, and obsesses over the details.
I am motivated above all by the sense of accomplishment that comes from learning something new.
I spent the first 10 years of my career at Goldman Sachs, most recently as a vice president leading the firm's digital learning strategy. In 2017, I left finance to study graphic design at the Shillington School of Design.
Recently, I’ve won some awards for work created during my time Shillington:
- Student to Watch in 2018 (Graphic Design USA)
- Certificate of Typographic Excellence (Type Directors Club)
- American Graphic Design Award for Student Packaging Design (Graphic Design USA)
I grew up in northern California, love cats (I have a Scottish Fold and a Himalayan), cooking, and DIY projects.
Oh, I also really, really love anchovies.
